Evaluation of lime properties
Palušáková, Stanislava ; Beranová, Denisa (referee) ; Opravil, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of the properties of limes, which are used in the field of heritage preservation of monuments, but also for common construction applications. The aim of this thesis is to draw up the appropriate set of analyzes that suffice the necessary minimum for the evaluated characteristics of air limes. Based on the results obtained in this set it will be characterized analysed lime and recommended it for a specific application. For simple solution of this work we have to deal with using traditional commercially available lime CL 90, CL80 and CL70. Selection of appropriate characteristic analysis was based on CSN EN 459.
Individual groundwater supply in hard rocks - factors affecting yield
Kvíz, Jan ; Hrkal, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Datel, Josef (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to characterize the natural groundwater resources in the crystallin massif, forming ¾ of the Czech Republic. In the form of research, it summarizes the knowledge of this issue regarding the nature-science and socio-economic context. The introduction of the thesis describes the specific environment of hard-rocks and the factors affecting the yield of sources. It focuses on the region of the Czech Republic. In the following part, the thesis describes the individual groundwater supply in the Czech Republic. Is summarizes the Czech legislation of this issue, the development of the individual water supply and also his negatives. The thesis then focuses on some of the examples of the exploitation of groundwater resources in India, which is one of the most active theoretical and practical innovators in the field of exploiting the region of hard rocks.

Lesní studánky - sledování vybraných pramenů ve správě Lesů města Brna v severní části okresu Brno-venkov
Borunská, Lucie
This diploma thesis deals with the monitoring of selected headsprings in the administration of the Lesy města Brna in the northern district of Brno-venkov, describing their current state and proposals for their reconstruction. The basis of the work was to measure the basic parameters of water quality - water temperature, pH, saturation of oxygen and yield measurements of water sources, taking samples for laboratory analysis. Based of measured values there were compiled charts and graphs, and the water quality evaluation of individual headspring. The most important part of this work is to design the general reconstruction of one of the monitored headsprings and suggestions of installation of benches and information boards, there are alsodrawing annexes of the individual proposals and map annexes.
Evaluation of spring discharge/temperature relation in Švihov water reservoir region
KUŽEL, David
This Diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of relation between spring water temperature and spring discharge by means of own measuring. A chosen spring was found in the area of reservoir Švihov close to the locality Hulice. Following local conditions were explored within the study: hydrology, climate, geology, natural conditions, tectonics, hydrogeology and other potential factors, which may influence runoff generation in studied locality. The work consists in a continuous monitoring of springand following evaluation of measured data. To find other possible dependencies data of water and air temperature and spring discharge were compared with the data of soil Temperature and soil moisture (this data were also obtain by own measurements). Different dependences of spring discharge and water temperature were demonstrated on the monitored site during the year. Changes in spring discharge and water temperature are cause by rapid infiltration of rainwater and by subsequent rapid runoff out of the subbasin.
Evaluation of spring discharge/temperature relation in Klatovsko region
HAVEL, Zdeněk
This work focuses on the evaluation of dependence between the spring discharge fluctuations and water temperature, both during the year and extreme rainfall-runoff events, on spring equipped with a V-notch weir with a continuous monitoring of spring water temperature and water level above the weir. Data were gathered on descending fissure spring of Tocnicky stream, located in the southwestern part of the Planicky ridge natural park in Klatovsko region. More data and stand characteristics (air temperature, soil temperature profile, soil moisture) were measured for better evaluation of the dependence, both at the spring location and in the infiltration area on the western slope of local highest peak Rovná. The formation of runoff on the slope above measured spring is likely to be subject to a combination of shallow circulation with a component of preferential flow during extreme rainfall-runoff events and deeper circulation, which is not yet well known and understood.
